BMW Intends to Release Full Battery Powered Vehicle by 2013

In an effort to show how serious it is to change the landscape of the automotive industry, BMW has announced that it intended to be released on a car battery powered completely by 2013.

In 2007, the company announced that it would lead to the Project "i." The objective of this project was to create a vehicle that was suitable for urban areas and green. At that time, people still are not sure if this was just a gimmick, but it seems the company is holding true to its word.

From this point, the company has crashed to test a couple of prototypes that make up the chassis and frames for electric vehicles. Soon the company will pioneer a factory in Washington.

BMW is still very secretive about how the vehicle will look like and despite tons of competition from other companies, are confident that their own cell vehicles stand out.

The price of the vehicle is also still unknown, but definitely will be marketed to drivers who can afford to offer a BMW.
