Volt Gets Warranty on Battery

The company will provide a fully transferable to 8 years, 100,000 warranty on the battery. After rigorous testing, the company expects the Volt battery will be able to perform at top form.

When fully charged, the electric vehicle must be able to travel up to 40 miles on electricity. If this is depleted, the gasoline engine kicks in to help recharge the ground.
